Cisco 3524-PWR-XL uplink configuration

Has anyone used 2 cisco 3524-PWR-XL switches uplinked together to make 48 ports? Is it possible to uplink 2 fastethernet ports so the switches talk to each other. If it can be done does any know what the configuration should be I have used the following with no success.

interface FastEthernet0/24
 description Uplink to DBSwitch2 Room 202
 switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
 switchport trunk native vlan 235
 switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,135,235,1002-1005
 switchport mode trunk
 switchport priority extend trust

I think you might be looking to build an etherchannel between the two switches.
