Hi I have a Cisco 3750G-12SE running in my core. Now I need more than the 12 ports, and have got another 3750G-12SE, and stack cable. Can I create a stack, and add this new one as slave while the current one is running in production?

Yes as long as the new stack member is powered OFF before attaching the stacking cable.

Ok, tanks. But after connecting the cable, I power it on, and them add configuration for stack (there is no stack now, just a single 3750), or do I add configuration also before powering up the slave?

You can do either.  The latter is known as preprovisioning.

Agree with Joseph.  You can configure, aka pre-provisioning, before you add the stack member.  Personally, I'm a big user of pre-provisioning because people can start using the ports as soon as the new stack member boots up.
