Cisco 3845 - archive command time-period does not work

I have a Cisco 3845 wiht the archive command configured:

archive

path tftp://x.x.x.x/$h

write-memory

time-period 60

The archive command works with the execution of the write mem, but with the "time-period" doesn't work.

Am I doing something wrong?

Or Do you know if my IOS is affected for some bug?...

This is the show version of my 3845:

Hector, did you ever find a solution to this? I am running into the same (I think) problem with a 3640 that is also running 12.3(14)T7 (c3640-ik9o3s-mz.123-14.T7.bin to be specific) and I have not found a solution. When manually issuing the 'wr' command the config is copied to the tftp server in whole, but the time-period automation only saves a very small file with only 'boot-start-marker' and 'boot-end-marker'. Very odd.

EDIT: I discovered another thread that described exactly the same behavior:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2065652

I followed the example at the very end of the thread and created a kron job to initiate the 'archive config' command. It's a hack, but works.
