Hi, I have some Cisco 3850-12S-E switches currently running software version 03.06.06E.
I know now that I have options of either Denali, Fuji or Everest depending on what features I need.
Basically the switch isn't doing anything too fancy - just layer 2 and layer 3, qos, tacacs with ISE etc with 10Gbps uplinks. Can anyone recommend the software train to go with given what I'm currently running and which in the train is a stable version ? Just looking for some advice here.

Hi there,
If you have now special requirements, then go with Cisco recommended release: 16.9.4MD

cheers,
Seb.

yeah I started to look at that one. One of the reasons I'm upgrading is to enable ERSPAN which my current version of IOS XE doesn't support. I'd looked at Fuji 16.9.4/5 but it looks like they've had issues with it and I'm reluctant to go there due to that fact. Any other suggestions ?
