Cisco 3850 48 port switch

How are the ports numbered in a 48 port  switch?

I know they are separated into 4 groups of 12. Looking at the front of the switch…

Is it

1 2 3 4 5 6

7 8 9 10 11 12

Or

1 3 5 7 9 11

2 4 6 8 10 12

hi,

just to add, look closely at the switch ports. there's a 1x near the first arrow pointing upward and another indicated 12x near the last arrow pointing downward.

odd number ports are located on top and even number ports at the bottom.
