Hi guys,
I have Cisco WS-C3850-48P, verison 16.12.10a.
License Entitlement tag Count Status
------------------------------------
C3850_48_Ipserv (C3850-48 IP Services)
At the moment, it is using IP Services. It has also added as smart licence.
I would like to convert this back to IP Base as we are not using IP Services features.
I do not see any command/option on the cli.
How can this be achieved?
Regards,
B

Hello @Beacon Bits
check your licence :
Activate ipbase: #license right-to-use activate ipbase (all) --all if you have a stack

I have found the option to use different level of booting that allows the smart license feature.
Cisco3850(config)#license ?
boot license boot config commands
smart Smart licensing
Cisco3850(config)#license boot ?
level which level to boot
Cisco3850(config)#license boot level ?
ipbasek9 License Level IPBASEK9
ipservicesk9 License Level IPSERVICESK9
lanbasek9 License Level LANBASEK9
Cisco3850(config)#license boot level lanbasek9 ?
addon select add-on to include DNA License
<cr> <cr>
I still not sure if it requires a reboot or not.
