Hi,

We have a Cisco 3945 router that stopped working. Sys led is in amber so I have found that this mean a system error, but when trying to load the router it only shows:

System Bootstrap, Version 15.0(1r)M13, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
Technical Support: http://www.cisco.com/techsupport
Copyright (c) 2011 by cisco Systems, Inc.

Total memory size = 1024 MB - DIMM0 = 512 MB, DIMM1 = 512 MB

Send new request to SCC

Send Flow-control message to SCC

And no errors are shown. I cannot enter in Rommon Mode nor doing anything else as the router doesn't accept any command. I cannot find troubleshooting for System Errors. Could anybody help?

Thanks

sounds ,like its end of days and needs to be replaced , if you cant even get to rommon theres not much you can do to troubleshoot ,bad sign when system is amber

Fault Indications

Check the following symptoms to locate or eliminate faults in the power and cooling systems:

With the power switch on, what color is the SYS LED?

If the LED is steady green, the router is receiving power and is functional.

If the LED is amber, the router is receiving power but is not functional.

If the LED is off, check the power source and power cable.
