Cisco 4003 code upgrade

I have two 4003's wich are in need of a code upgrade.

I will have to update the rommon and Catos

The code it is using is years old.

Do I have to load code in sequential order or can I load the latest code ?

You need to upgrade the rommon first if the main code release calls for it . The instructions can be found in the release notes for the particular code version you plan to use.
