Hi all,

I have 2 chassis and I would like to factory reset them. I have tried to follow the password recovery in order to write erase etc, but this doesnt seem to be working. Is there any way to reset to factory completely without having to go through password recover, eg. interrupting boot and doing it from there.

Hi
if you have access you can just delete everything from flash thats another way of doing it and then reload the switch

if you dont have access you must follow the password recovery ...

if you post what your seeing during the recovery we can see where its failing and help

Console into the switch and reboot. I want to see what error messages come up when you are attempting to do password recovery.
