 - Check this document : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6500/hardware/Config_Notes/6507_01.html , pay attention to supported Flash card(s) mentioned and installation procedure (format).

The doc talked about the slot0 cf but i removed the inside cf which comes with sup.

What is the Supervisor card model?

Cat6k-sup720/sp this is the model of sup

What error message when an external CF is used?

Actually i removed the internal cf 1g and i format it in my laptop then i copied a new ios bin file then i rensert it i side not from outside and gives me error bootdisk doesnt contain a valid magic number and before i was able to make dir bootflash: but now even bootflash is not there any more

Corrupt partition or the file is corrupt.

Console into the supervisor card and attempt to boot the IOS using the external CF.  Post the entire boot-up process.

Can I use the interal cf to insert it external because I dont have anpther cf to use it in external?

And how will you be able to determine if the internal CF did not fail?

You are right! So what is the best and guarantee CF I can use it in external CF? I have Transcend 4G CF, can I use it?

Yes, as long as the CF is formatted to FAT16.

Oh, OK, and also the internal CF should be FAT16? because I format the internal CF with FAT32 maybe that's why the bootflash: not detect it!

I will check the FAT version in Internal CF tomorrow! I am afraid it's 32!

I format it to FAT16 and here is the logs I have on console:
