Hello Community
We are using Cisco 6509-E and wants to replace with Cisco 6503-E . The Cisco 6509 has following inventory:-
#show module
Mod Ports Card Type Model Serial No.
--- ----- -------------------------------------- ------------------ -----------
1 48 CEF720 48 port 10/100/1000mb Ethernet WS-X6848-GE-TX SSSS3
5 5 Supervisor Engine 2T 10GE w/ CTS (Acti VS-SUP2T-10G SSSSSS
8 48 CEF720 48 port 1000mb SFP WS-X6848-SFP YYYY
9 20 DCEF2T 4 port 40GE / 16 port 10GE WS-X6904-40G YYYY
#show power
PS Type Watts A @42V Status Status State
---- ------------------ ------- ------ ------ ------ -----
1 WS-CAC-6000W 5771.64 137.42 OK OK on
2 WS-CAC-6000W 5771.64 137.42 OK OK on
My question is that could we use the same power supply on Cisco 6503-E chasis. I think so we could not use this power supply but other line cards are compatible with Cisco 6503 with VS-SUP2T-10G.
Welcome for further comments for module compatibilty for 6503 .
Regards
