Cisco 6880X VSS SSO issue after failover

We are implementing a Cisco C6880-X-LE VSS solution with multiple C6800IA-48TD connected to it.

Currently we are running c6880x-ipservicesk9-mz.SPA.151-2.SY5.bin

We are currently still testing the configuration.

When we did a redundancy test a strange thing happened.

In datacenter A we have LaptopA connected to FEX-A in VLAN100 and in datacenter B we have LaptopB connected to FEX-B in vlan101.

Both the laptops can ping each other and also their GW's.

When we cut the power off the primary 6880 of the VSS cluster in datacenter A we can see that the clients lose 1 ICMP to their GW's and thats it which is great.

Now the 6880 in datacenter B is active while the 6880 in datacenter A is rebooting.

During this boot process after about 7 minutes the ping between the laptops breaks...

From the active 6880-B we can ping each laptop individually

Both the laptops can still ping their GW's, this stays for about 5 minutes then the laptop's can ping each other again.

At this time the 6880-A is fully rebooted  and the 6880-B is still active.

When we do the redundancy failover back to the 6880-A we do not see this issue.

We have done some bug searching and see some similarity's with the following bug:

https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCus93563

We are going to upgrade to c6880x-ipservicesk9-mz.SPA.152-1.SY1.bin today and see if this goes better.

After the upgrade to c6880x-ipservicesk9-mz.SPA.152-1.SY1.bin  the failover test is OK no more unexpected connectivity loss.

Maybe it still had something to do with CSCus93563
