Cisco 7960 IP Phone registers, but doesn't receive a number

Can't figure out what's wrong, but our 7. phone doesn't receive a phone number.

Have you made any changes since updating the cnf files?

SCCP Phones

Router (config)# telephony-service

Router(config-telephony)# create cnf-files

SIP Phones

1. voice register global

2. file text

3. create profile

Thank you for your reply, but it turned out, that some of my students had entered

auto assign 1 5

auto assign 4 6

after I had already configured the router. :-(
