Hello!

I have some i guess beginner question. The scenario is as follow:

- CompayA on there edge have Cisco switch that support 802.1q

CompayB on there edge have Cisco switch that support 802.1q

Than CompanyA would like to transport all that vlans that recived from CompanyB through network that does not support QinQ, is it possible to pack all vlans received from CompanyB in some vlan, and than on the last CompanyA switch create access port with that vlan?

But how does CompanyB than configure last switch to recive all that vlans ?

Is that even possible ?

Thank you for any help in advance.

Hi

Q-in-Q would be the simplest way but if no equipment is supporting it you can have other methods but I bet that your equipment are not supporting them as well. You need to check that out.

The other solutions would be:

- L2TPv3

- GRE tunnel (bridge-group)

Thanks
