Hello all, please could you someone help me about this issue (critical for me...)
My company bought the PAK for the advanced IP services feature. Actually I'm using the Evaluation type.
Using the Cisco License Portal I got by email the new license.lic file but when I try to install on the router I don't get the message "successfull installed..."
and the advipservices is still in evaluation mode.

TSIH401-b# lice install flash:FCZ162092G1_20120824021311032.lic
Installing licenses from "flash:FCZ162092G1_20120824021311032.lic"
Installing...Feature:advsecurity...Failed:
% Error: Duplicate license
0/1 licenses were successfully installed
1/1 licenses were existing licenses
0/1 licenses were failed to install
The advsecurity is already installed permanent, so It's right the duplicated, but it seems that the new license file is not able to overwrite the evaluation feature.
Many tks in advance for your support.
regards
Matteo

Hi! Try to disable advipservices license first. Something like this:
license boot module c880 technology-package advipservices disable
12-05-2012 12:19 AM
you can try using the command
Router(config)#license boot module c880-advipserveice
Thanks
