arcon(config)#int wlan1

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

I got this problem interface Wlan not working.

Please help. Thanks!

Your router model does not have wireless interface.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps5854/eol_c51-631228.html

But in the front of my router it has LINK 2.4Ghz WLAN. what is this for?

The link that you gave is not for 887VA Paolo.

Can you post the following output:

1.  sh inventory

2.  sh ip int brie

3.  sh run | i service-module wlan-ap 0 boot image

You need to provide information about the configuration you want.  The 880 is capable of supporting up to 8 VLANs.  The built-in wireless AP can only support 802.11b/g and the antennas cannot be detached.

Information I would be looking for are:

1.  Are you going to use multiple SSID or single SSID?

2.  How many VLANs?

Hi Santiago.

The front panel of 887VA reports 2.4Ghz WLAN led in the front, but it hasn't any wireless capability. (i own an 887 VA too). It has a POE led too, but you need an adapter to get poe working.

What you need , for wireless connection is an 887VA-W

HTH

Regards

Carlo
