Cisco 9200 backing up config and restoring to new switch

Hello Experts  @Rob Ingram  @balaji.bandi

I am replacing faulty C9200 with Brand new C9200. Both switches are exact same in terms of Hardware and Licensing and models.

I backed up the Config and while looking the config, I saw that password are written as 7 encrypted and I restored the config to new switch and passwords are seen as exact same (7 encrypted).

Just want to make sure that the passwords will work with new switch?  or do i need to manually retype as plain text?

Also, Is there any command to retrieve full config with plain passwords like we do have command at ASA interface?

Thanks,

yes it works as expected when you copied from old to  new, and you remember the password.
