We have a few Cisco 9300's in production, 2 of which we need to move to Network Advantage so we can set up SVI's and HSRP. We purchased them with Network Essentials which included the DNA Essentials. My confusion and frustration is with what is needed to use Network Advantage. We do not use the DNA features/options so do we need DNA advantage to use Network Advantage? Based on what I see in the image Network Advantage in already there with Network Essentials, is that true?
The option to boot to Network Advantage is there as well.
Switch(config)#license boot level ?
network-advantage License Level Network-Advantage
network-essentials License Level Network-Essentials

if your environment do not have DNAC, then you do not need DNA License
Network Advantage is good for you.
You do not need any new image, it just license to enable th features.
anything after 16.9.X smart licensing to activate the License.
hope this help you.

What firmware is the stack running on?

We just upgraded to 17.3.4 last night. I found out from TAC that the CLI commands have changed in any version after 17.3.X, this makes things like registration challenging.
I think I have a better understanding after digging around today. We need an upgrade SKU instead of new license SKU is what they(the vendor) told us.
