Cisco 9410R vs 9500 or 9300 switches

I'm getting ready to change out my 4507R-E.  I'm think about going up to the 9000  series. I think about the 9410R or change to 9500 and 9300. Does anyone recommend either?   Is there any recommendation out there  between stack and non stack?  Has anyone run into any issues between the two or recommend one compared to the other?  Thank you in advance.

Hi

Cisco Catalyst 9000 are the new ones, they have many new features and they support DNA, My personal opinion is that the change will be great, the 9000 switches are robust and they are a good selection thinking in future. The following link can provide more information.

Hope it is useful

:-)

All these switches are new to the market in 2017 and has very rich capabilities. Cisco 9300 and 9500 are fixed Chassis and 9400 is a modular chassis. If you want to have the switches in Stack for Access, go for Cisco 9300 with maximum of 8 stacks. If you want modular instead of 4500 then simply go for Cisco 9400- C9407R model with 7 slot chassis.

The Catalyst 9K series is so new, even "good" recommendations might not have a lot to back them (yet).

Regarding stack vs. non-stack, probably the most of the usual pros and cons apply. What might be, or not be, different, is whether the non-stack models have similar hardware resources compared to the chassis models, and whether the software on the non-stack models will be as stable as on the chassis.

I would recommend a 9400 pair. They are cheaper than the 6800s and with very valuable features such as stackwise virtual (almost like VSS)
