Hello,
I am looking for some clarification regarding StackWise Virtual in Cisco 9500 and 9600
I can stack two switches Cisco 9500 or 9600 that each one of them in different building by StackWise Virtual ?
What is the maximum distance between the two switches in one stack by StackWise Virtual ?
What is the maximum number of switches stacked by StackWise Virtual ?
Any differentiation between VSS and StackWise Virtual regarding the distance between the stacked switches ?
Cisco 9500 or 9600 can support VSS ?

Hello.
Stackwise Virtual is supported on C9500/C9600 instead of VSS.
There is no direct distance limitation in SWV, and the condition is that the two switches that make up SWV are directly connected. In other words, the number of switches are 2 like VSS. There is no agreement on distance, but it depends on the maximum distance limit of the connecting cable.
There is no problem to directly connect the building next to the site.
The C9500/C9600 does not support VSS and uses SWV, so please refer to the description in the guide below.
