Hello,
So ive managed to get into my Web UI of my Switch and set it up, However i saw the version my Web UI was using and by my curiosity I decided that it would be a good idea to see if there was any Software Updates, I ended up finding there was an Recommended update for the Switch called 15.2 7 E4, so I thought since its since its recommended. i should probably update it. and i think i made a mistake. I updated it from Software Version 15.2 7 E1 to 15.2 7 E4 inside the Web UI itself using the Update tool. and when i did that i selected Web UI only. and now the Web UI doesn't seem to be functioning properly. instead of it being a GUI , and now its displaying HTML with some Hyperlinks, is there a way to Rollback to my Previous version of 15.2 7 E1? inside the Switch itself its still running the 15.2 7 E1 Version. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks.

Hi,
I am not familiar with that switch model, but if the GUI is not working and you want to rollback, try connecting to the switch via telnet or console cable and look at the flash (sh flash). If you see the old IOS on the flash, change the boot variable to the old IOS and reload the switch.

Hello,
Thank you for replying. I'm not entirely sure how to change the boot variable. however i can supply some more information that may be Helpful. There appears to be 2 Flash Files on the Switch. Flash: and Flash1: Both Show outputs are displayed below. I'm not entirely sure how helpful this info I've supplied is, However thought id try to help as much as possible. Also one odd thing i did note. out of all the digging around I've done. I haven't found any info about my update i applied. none of this is showing a Version of 15.2 7 E4?

In enable mode, enter this command: delete flash:c1000-universalk9-tar.152-7.E1
It will ask to confirm to delete this file. Respond with "y".
The command, however, will not be able to delete the sub-directory.
Once this is done, reboot the switch.

Sorry For the Over Due response, But hopefully i will get a response
I Have Done what you Requested :
[In enable mode, enter this command: delete flash:c1000-universalk9-tar.152-7.E1
It will ask to confirm to delete this file. Respond with "y".
The command, however, will not be able to delete the sub-directory.
Once this is done, reboot the switch.]
and my web UI still is showing HTML Format instead However in the dir flash: it no longer has c1000-universalk9-tar.152-7.E1
Which is what was the goal and now has c1000-universalk9-mz 152-7.E1 in the flash directory. however the Webui never came back to its normal format that displayed the graphs
