Cisco Catalyst 3560 G POE 48

        Good morning,

Im trying to access the switch to reset the password to factory defaults (please see switch output Astrix has removed customer identifying information for security purposes.) Each time I reboot the switch and try and access the password recover mode this same output below starts and im still not able to access the recovery area of the switch

Hi  Paul,

just reset the switch :

Physically opened the switch,

- Hold the mode button  (directly on the mini board) and reboot the unit – Release it when the light on top 1x went off

- Accept the message to reset to factory default

- type boot and voila problem fixed.

or

Erase the startup configuration with the erase startup-config command

Delete the vlan.dat file

Reload
