Hello,
We have just purchased a L3 Cisco switch
Cisco Catalyst 3650-48TD-S - switch - 48 ports
at
https://www.cdw.com/shop/products/Cisco-Catalyst-3650-48TD-S-switch-48-ports-managed-rack-mountable/3220920.aspx?pfm=srh#BVRRWidgetID
I wonder if it is support NAT or not?
Checked in datasheet and see nothing about NAT configuration
Thank you

Hi,
No, it is not supported on 3650. NAT is supported on routers and firewalls, NOT on switches (generally speaking). If you type the command ("ip nat inside/outside"...), it will be accepted; however, it is disabled in software -- not taking effect.
HTH,
Meheretab

NAT is not supported in any Catalyst switches.
NAT is the exclusive function of a router.

Ohh what.. Thanks for the heads up lol! I was sure NAT worked with layer 3 switches. I can get all the different IOS available from cisco download center If there are any addons to support NAT?
If I need to get something else(router, etc), what do you recommend for home use? The 800 series router?
Thanks for the help!

If you can get your hands on 880/890 would be great. Otherwise, the 1100 is the replacement of the 800-series router.
