Cisco Catalyst 4006 password reset

Okay guys,

I managed to get a 4006 at an auction that used to belong to a school real cheap

It came fully populated with fast ethernet modules.  So I Thought that this would be nice for my home lab.

The only problem is that I can't log into the switch.  I have tried everything in my googling powers and can not find a solution.

I would like to reset it to defaults with no passwords required.

Thanks for the info.

When I typed confreg I received not a rocognized command message.

When looking around romon mode, I removed al NVRAM settings and performed the password recovery procedure using blank passwords.

This seemed to work to where I can get in now.

Could anyone point me to a guide on basic setup for this?
