Cisco catalyst 4500 switch to 2 HSRP Cisco routers

All,

I am currently trying to set up a network. The service provider has provided us two circuit links. One is a wireless solution and the other is a 100 MB fiber connection. They have provided two routers one for each solution, plugging to our switch to two different interfaces. They have got HSRP with 2x standby group set up between the routers and provided a VIP address. The default gateway on my switch is the VIP address. The setup is as follows

                                      HSRP

   Wireless Router 1<---------> primary router 1

x.x.x.251                                           x.x.x.252

VIP=x.x.x.254

                                 Catalyst 4500

I have two questions.

Question 1- I got two interfaces from the service provider router plugging to my catalyst switch (ports 4/1 and 4/2). Is there any configuration I need to have on my switch, other than setting them to access ports on the default VLAN?

Question2-How do I load balance the traffic by traffic by setting half the LAN devices to use one of the virtual address and the remaining devises to use the second virtual address

A1. You can configure them like any other access port

A2. I would think that the wireless circuit is less reliable than the fiber connection. Do you really want traffic going across it when a better link is available? You could do it with policy base routing, but that seems like more work than what you may be getting out of it.

I have one more question. The situation is as follows.

We got two different networks plugging to the switch. One link from the service provider has two interfaces plugging to our switch and given addresses in each subnet to the links

We have added static routes to both these addresses on the catalyst

Now they have provided another circuit with router and two LAN interfaces with each LAN interface having the different subnet ip address. My question is what additional configuration needed on the switch to take the second circuit into consideration

Hello,

Your service provider has provided fail over for you by HSRP.  Load sharing is not going to give you more bandwidth because your ISP limits your bandwidth based on your IP addresses, not based on the link. As Collin mentioned, you should use fiber, which I am sure your ISP  has assigned 254 to fiber router as a primary HSRP address. Call them to make sure 254 is primary on fiber connection.
