CISCO CBS250 48P-4G issue with PoE

Hello,

I have a strange issue with PoE. Everything was working for a couple of days but all of a sudden all PoE devices were disconnected. All devices without PD are working. I checked logs and it just showed gixx is down for all the ports. Devices connected to the switch are 15 IP phones and 4 Cisco APs. I performed a couple of reboots and one factory defaults but it is still the same. I updated to a latest firmware 3.3.0.16 but still nothing.

I ran some commands to check and found that Port status is set as below? I ran some commands as power inline auto etc. But I was unable to change the setting? Do you have any idea where to change that or what could possibly happen?

show power inline gi27

Interface Admin Oper Power (W) Class Device Priority
---------- ---------- ----------- ----------------- ----- -------------- --------
gi27 Auto Off 0.0 - low

Port Status: Port is off. Disabled by user setting
Port standard: 802.3AT
Admin power limit (for port power-limit mode): 30.0 watts
Time range:
Operational power limit: 30.0 watts
Negotiated power: 0.0 watts (None)
Current (mA): 0
Voltage(V): 0.0
Overload Counter: 0
Short Counter: 0
Denied Counter: 0
Absent Counter: 0
Invalid Signature Counter: 0

Let me know if you have any suggestions?

Regards

Michal

I ran the command also for port gi28 but nothiing changed.

BRN-N-SW001#conf t
BRN-N-SW001(config)#interface gi28
BRN-N-SW001(config-if)#no shutdown
BRN-N-SW001(config-if)#power inline auto
BRN-N-SW001(config-if)#exit
BRN-N-SW001(config)#exit
BRN-N-SW001#show power inline gi28

---------- ---------- ----------- ----------------- ----- -------------- --------
gi28 Auto Off 0.0 - low

When I check all ports it says Administrative status Enabled and Operative status Disabled. When I change from Auto to Never it changes the Administrative status, but there is no setting for the Operative status. Do you have any other idea what to change?

Thank you
Michal

Try to use the commit command

interface gi28
 power inline auto
  commit
  end

It says: unrecognized command. This is really strange.

BRN-N-SW001#config t
BRN-N-SW001(config)#interface gi28
BRN-N-SW001(config-if)#power inline auto
BRN-N-SW001(config-if)#commit
% Unrecognized command
BRN-N-SW001(config-if)#end

Sorry, I mess up the device.

Last idea, try to enable via web gui. But I am afraid that you may need RMA for this device

This option is enabled so probably RMA is the best bet. Thank you for everything.

Yeah, I am afraid so.

 Good luck
