Cisco IE-2000 or IE-2000U & EIGRP

Will a Cisco IE-2000-8TC-G-E or a IE-2000-8TC-G-B with an IP Lite Software Upgrade only do EIGRP stub? The datasheet says that it does EIGRP (period). It does not say EIGRP stub only. Can you please clarify this for me? See the attached screenshot from the IE-2000 datasheet where it simply says adding IP Lite license will do EIGRP.

Hi @computerwayne

If we compare with other cisco device, the information is the same. I mean, what is mentioned for routing protocol is EIGRP only. EIGRP stub would be a feature for EIGRP and not something specific.

IE-2k will never support any form of routing.  It is purely a low-cost layer 2 switch.

Well that is obviously not true buddy.  Please take a look at the IE-2000 configuration guide.  There are clear examples of EIGRP configurations:

According to the data sheet you provided it will do EIGRP with stub feature along with other EIGRP
