Cisco IOS upgrade from version 12.2 to 15.2.2E9(MD)

Hi

I'm trying to upgrade catalyst 2960S-48TD-L switch from version 12.2 to 15.2.2E9(MD). What's the recommended upgrade path for this version ? Can I go directly from 12.2 to 15.2.2E9(MD) or I have to first upgrade to some intermediate versions ?

You can do direct upgrade. make sure  that you read the "Release Notes" before you upgrade.

You can go direct, however, since this is a major upgrade there will be a one-off, mandatory micro-code upgrade.
Depending on the motherboard assembly number, this will take between 10 to 44 minutes.

You can directly upgrade and Micro-code will be auto-update as per new IOS and board.
