Cisco QOS with 4500

Hello, 

I have to configured QOS on 4500 , I am using Etherchannel with two physical (10G ) interfaces. I have to confirm that I need to configure

Service-Policy output voip on Etherchannel interface also or not . Secondly I need to configure in output or input direction. please guide me.

class-map match-all voip
match dscp ef

policy-map voip
class voip
bandwidth percent 10

interface fast 0/0

service-policy output voip

interface fast 0/1

service-policy output voip

inter port-cha 9

Hi!

With this you are only reserving 10% of your bandwidth configured with the bandwidth command in the interface. According to the following link, it seems the best choice is to configure it only in the physical interfaces and avoid doing it in the portchannel.

That bandwidth reservation is usually configured as output to reserve at least 10% when the queue gets congested.
