Hi,

I have a question ,is it true that when we configure Cisco Routers for site to site VPN using CLI mode, that is more difficult then using CCP?

I hope my question is clear

clear answer: it depends ...

The initial config can be easier in CCP, at least when you're not familiar with the IPSec-terms. But when something doesn't work, then you need the cli anyway to troobleshoot.

But if you want to maintain the router over longer time, it's worth to learn the CLI. Soon or later you need it anyway!

And the config for site-to-site is not that difficult. At least when the other side is also an IOS-router where you can use virtual Tunnel interfaces (VTI).
