Hello Cisco:
We have a device that I telneted to which is the loopback address. The weird thing is that this device has all the physical interface as down but does have a bunch of vlan inteface that are up. I assume it must be a a route-processor I'm connected to. How do verify this?

Yes, this is Catalyst 5000 Route Switch Module (RSM), you can verify this from "C5RSM Software" and from the IOS name "c5rsm-jsv-mz.120-15a.bin".
