Hi,
I am trying to configure option 42 on a Cisco SG300 switch, NTP option for shoretel phones. When I enter the command:
'option 42 ip 192.168.3.1' (within the DHCP pool) this error occurs:
DHCP server option parameters mismatch. This code 42 must be from another type.
Here is the DHCP config:
ip dhcp pool network Voice
address low 192.168.3.20 high 192.168.3.220 255.255.255.0
lease 2
default-router 192.168.3.253
option 156 hex xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
