Hi everyone,
We are currently running a pair of Cisco Nexus 7706 chassis, running 8.1(2a) SW. Looking at the following link - NXOS7700 EoL SW l am trying to determine if Cisco TAC will support this after LDoS looking at the following statement:
Cisco Nexus 7700, 7000 NX-OS 7.2, 8.0, 8.1 Last Date of Support: OS SW is - March 31, 2024
Thanks,
James

Hi James,
As long as they are no date for end-of-support (EOS), and you have a valid service contract, TAC will support the boxes. Usually, after the EOS date, Cisco will not sell you a support contract. Once you reach the EOS date, you would have to purchase newer products but until then you are good to go. You may also want to consult your sales rep.

This being the date for end of support, we would need to look at SW update 2022, 2023.
That is correct, James!

Hi Reza,
Thanks for prompt feedback. I was looking SW support for Cisco NXOS being:
End-of-Life Milestones and Dates for the Cisco Nexus 7700, 7000 NX-OS 7.2, 8.0, 8.1
Last Date of Support: | The last date to receive applicable service and support for the product as entitled by active service contracts or by warranty terms and conditions. After this date, all support services for the product are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete. | March 31, 2024 |
This being the date for end of support, we would need to look at SW update 2022, 2023.
Thanks,
James
