Cisco Switch and ESXI virtual machine problem - not accessible

How did you configure the port on the switch? Is it a trunk port or something else?

Hi Sean,

Thanks for your reply. I had the interface set to access mode and it did not work. Then I changed it to trunk to see if something would change and it still the same.  Able to ping the ESXI host but unable to ping VM.

To me it looks an ARP problem. I did refresh the arp entries but it did not work either.
