Cisco Switch SF300-08 not working with layer 3 mode

Hi, when i connect Switch Cisco SF300-08  first time with default IP 192.168.1.254 it's working but after i have change it from switch layer 2 mode to layer  3 mode it's was disconnection. I can not ping to default ip 192.168.1.254. when i plug network cable to switch port the LED light not up. What's wrong. please help me.

When changing from l2 to l3 the switch reboots and factory resets (besides being in l3). Did you try and console into switch to verify booting properly after factory reset. As well as vlan1 IP address?
