Cisco WS-C2960X-24PS-L | Upgrade path from 15.0(2a)EX5 to 15.2(7)E7

Hello,

I'm planning to upgrade my Cisco WS-C2960X-24PS-L switch from its current software version of 15.0(2a)EX5 to the Cisco-recommended version of 15.2(7)E7. Can I perform the upgrade in one step, or is there a specific upgrade path that I need to follow?

Direct upgrade is supported. 

Cold-reboot (pull the power cable) is mandatory.

For any other switches, not necessarily.  For the 2960X, I would recommend a cold reboot.

There is micro-code bug present in 2960X that are on EX3 (and earlier) --  CSCvf24186

If the switch has never had the IOS upgrade, cold reboot.
