Lets start with basic tests :
1. how is these switch power fed, UPS ? If UPS is the UPS ok ? Do you have monitoring of the UPS.
2. Any power outages reported in this time.
3. As per show version - "System returned to ROM by power-on" - switch returned with power cycled.
4. sh log empty because of switch rebooted all the logs lost, setup syslog server to log the events, so you get more broad picture what is happening with switch.
show tech output will provide more information and cause of the issue if it is related to Switch issue.
another question - is there any recent IOS upgrade took place on this device ?
