Hi Guys

Just a quick confirmation question. We have a Cisco WS-C6509-E chassis switch with the following modules

We would like to upgrade to SUP2T Supervisor. I have cross checked all above line cards work using this link.

The only item i am not to clear about is the Firewall Service Module (WS-SVC-FWM-1) . Will it be compatible with SUP2T , are there any requirements needed from a IOS train release in order to support the WS-SVC-FWM-1 ?

Hi Yazeed,

According to this link, the firewall service module is supported with Sup 2T.

Q. Which service modules are supported with Cisco Supervisor Engine 2T?

A. The following service modules are supported: Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Firewall Services Module (FWSM), Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA) service module, Cisco Application Control Engine (ACE) 20, and Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series/7600 Series Wireless Services Module (WiSM) and WiSM-2.
