Hello Experts,
Can someone please explain whats the concept of clearing Hardware logic on an interface. I just see a cisco doc like
"clear interface gigabitethernet
To clear the hardware logic from a Gigabit Ethernet IEEE 802.3z interface, use the clear interface gigabitethernet command.
clear interface gigabitethernet slot/port"
Can someone shed light on this, as to what exactly it does, I just have a understanding that it soft clears the interface, but how would that help in network connectivity issues???
Thanks,
MM Khan
