Hi,
Use the univercd,
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/home/home.htm
select your ios,
then select comamnd ref,
then select the specific technology command ref that you are interested in,
It will tell you details on when the ios was introduced etc...

I'm more interested in something like the "Command lookup tool"
http://tools.cisco.com/Support/CLILookup/cltSearchAction.do
For example when I want to know if a particular IOS version supports an EEM sub command or to retrieve a list of IOS versions that supports a particular EEM sub command, is there an easier way to do it?

Hi,
Well the best way to do that really is to use the univercd, in my opinion,
You can also use the feature navigator to search if eem is available on specific platform, but you prob have this covered already.
If you know the command feature you are looking for, then you can check the new feature guides, this shows you any new features added into that release or T train.
Short of just testing it, im not sure what else you can do!

Feature Navigator is the way to go to find if a certain version of IOS supports a certain feature. See http://www.cisco.com/go/fn. As for a specific command, you'd have to read the command reference for that version of IOS. For example, since I told you the EEM CLI action was added in EEM 2.1 you can use the Feature Navigator to see it your IOS includes EEM 2.1.
