Hello,

If you are having a problem doing a backup, I would recommend you these work around that would get the job done:

1- Enable the logging feature in putty save the file in a folder, log in to the equipment use "terminal length 0" then do a "show run". This will dump all the running configuration into the file.

2- If you are having a problem copying to FTP, you can always try TFTP server or even you can just drop a copy to the FLASH "copy run flash". This will create you a backup on the equipment it self. (I do not recommend this option)

Let me know if this help or if you have any further questions,

Best Regards,

Note: Make sure to turn of Windows Firewall and the Antivirus before you do copy run to ftp or tftp, many times they block it. Try this first if it doesn't work try the above work around.
