hi,
i'll configure a C9300 switch but the C9300-NM-8X isn't installed yet.
i can see ten gig 1/1/1-8 interfaces are available.
are these reserved for the 8-port module? can i pre-configure these interfaces withoug the said module yet?

it's not make any difference if you apply the config before or after, but I would advise applying the config after the module is installed.
you will not get any advantage to apply that config before since the module is not present. (rather it crate confusion for other network engineers)

hi,
the engineer is just me
so i don't worry about the potential confusion.
can you confirm these ten gig links are "reserved" or meant for the C9300-NM-8X module?
can i pre-configure these ten gig links with trunks and etherchannel?

C9300-NM-8X - if you installing, i would suggest to config on interface ten 1/1/1 (not gig ports)
yes you can configure - but as i said no value if there is no interface in place or module in place.
