Configure REP on 2960XR level 2 switch

My new 2960XR-24TS-I will not accept any REP configuration commands. 

Is there a service that must be enabled before I enter the "rep admin vlan ###" config command?

What is your license level?

Rep is not supported is you have LAN Base license.

Not -L.  It's -I.  You are correct that Lanbase does not support REP.

All I can figure is that there's a service I'm not turning on.....?

Got it working after a flash up to 15.2.  That's the minimum version for REP.

Have had no problems since then -- works as advertised!

The "show version" command provides a little more information:  Version 15.0 (2a) EX5.

Can version 15.0 perform REP functions??  (most of the web literature refers to 15.1 and 15.2....)
