Hi
I need to configure auto-failover for a link. That link provided by single ISP but via 2 POPs as primary and secondary link.
So if Primary POP link went down, the traffic should pass to the secondary link. I don't know the exact configurations to configure this.
The network topology is like below.
I NEED TO CONFIGURE THIS AS AUTO FAILOVER, USING IP SLA.
Can any one help me to conigure this ? PLEASE SEE the attach graph for the network topology.
I would be glad anyone can help me

Hi
I have tested mentioned configuration in a simulation envirnment and worked finly.
But if i trace desination ip form customer LAN, in the NAT table it shows only one link NAT Translation only. It is not shows the both path NAT translations. But if i drop one link, then onward in the NAT table it shows other link NAT translation.
I want to know without any link drop, why in NAT table shows only one NAT translation ?.
Or can you tell me how can i check both link work together while i am sendinf traffic to destination !.

Hi ,
Can i do load balancing for this 2 links using BGP. ? Because ip-sla is not working as load balancing. If i ping to destination ip by adding high pacet size continusely. but under ip-sla configuration traffic goes via one link.
So i think it is better to implement it using BGP, but i have some confusion with implement it. Have you got any idea to implemet load balancing in simply way.

Hi,
The router will do load-sharing per src-dst ip pair whether the routes are installed with a static route or via BGP, this is the switching process which is in charge of the forwarding.
Regards.
