Dear all
I want to configure ssh on 2960 switch,
my Ios is LAN base 12.2 FX
when i want to configure ssh on switch with crypoto command the commnad does not appear.

you are going to need an ipservices ios for ssh support.

There isn't an IP Services image for the 2960 as it is purely layer-2. You have the choice of LAN Lite or LAN Base (LAN Base having more features). By default the non-crypto image is installed in the Flash, if you want SSH you will need the crypto IOS image. Download the 'LAN BASE WITH WEB BASED DEV MGR' from CCO and upgrade your 2960 with this, you will then have SSH (& HTTPS) support. The latest release is 12.2(44)SE2.

Hi,
you should have "K9" image installed, something like this c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-25.FX.bin
Check the filename of the IOS, with "show version"
