Hello and sorry fo my English, I'm from Germany and it is only school english
I'm trying to setup a SG250X-24P for my home network and need some help in how to do it.
My Idea is, to separate my normal Computers and Laptop, the media Devices and the VoIP Telefons. For this I would thing to use 3 VLans
1. Computer, Laptop, NAS (192.168.1.0)
2. Smart-TV, Gaming Console, Blu-Rayplayer etc (192.168.2.0)
3. VoIP telefons (192.168.3.0)
is this a good idea? if yes how do I need to configure the Switch. As much as I have found out, I need to setup up 3 Clans and the port which is connected to my "Telekom Digitalisierungsbox" needs to habe access to all V-Lans. for this I have to set it up as a trunk and meet to set a taged flag. I thing that I'm missing here something, because whenever I du this, the Box ist not accessible anymore from any computer or Device.
The Box an its own is a PBX for the phones.
for every v-lan I set up an IP in the box and disabled DHCP (this will be the next to set DHCP for all vLANs but first I would like to know if I have a major error in my way of thinking, because it seems not to work.
Thank you for all hints or links to understand more the way of setting up a V-Lan
Thanks
Steve

yes that is possible - you can create the VLAN in SG250X-24P, make sure your Upside device needs to handle address translation to reach the internet for all the subnets you created in the switch, and make sure you enable Layer 3 routing on SG250X-24P
