Confusing with VLAN name

Hi,

I just named my VLAN2 as LAB2 but the output of show command is confusing me.

Could someone please help me in this?

I thought it will shows SAID too as LAB2, but it doen't.

Basically i don't know what is meant by SAID here.

It seems that SAID comes from 802.10 encapsulation. SAID is Security Association IDentifier. Probably they just left it in the code. The value seems to be an integer which is the value 100000 + VLAN ID which in your case is then 100002.

"The IEEE 802.10 standard provides a method for secure bridging of data across a shared backbone. It defines a single frame type known as the Secure Data Exchange (SDE), a MAC-layer frame with an IEEE 802.10 header inserted between the MAC header and the frame data. A well-known Logical Link Control Service Access Point notifies the switch of an incoming IEEE 802.10 frame. The VLAN ID is carried in the 4-byte security association identifier (SAID) field."
