Connect Apple MacPro to cisco switch

I have a weird problem.  I have two MacPro desktops that are physically connected to my Cisco 2960 switch and those same workstations also have their Wireless enabled.

If I set the Mac's to use the physical Ethernet connection, I start getting loops in the network and the network comes to a halt.  I have tried setting the ports as "access" ports and "trunk" ports and neither seem to be able to cure the problem.  So right now, I've disabled the physical ports, making the MAC's use just their wireless and things seem stable, but this is not ideal.

I'm at a loss as to how to configure the Cisco ports to handle these crazy machines.

Unless the MAC's are somehow bridging the LAN and Wifi connections together, something sounds off.

Can you post the port configs?

Are the MAC's just running OSX? i.e. no VMware etc?

The ports should be Access Ports in whichever VLAN you want them a member of.

Thanks
