Connect Fiber from MediaConverter directly to GLC-SX

Hi

I'm wandering if it is possible to connect the fiber from a Mediaconverter directly to the GLC-SX of a Switch. 

As shown in Figure:

Switch ----> GLC-SX-MMD  ------> Optical Fiber (Multimode) -----> Mediaconverter (Fiber link) -----> Mediaconverter (Copper Link) -----> UTP Patch -----> PC.

I always see a couple of MC than work toghether, (switch - MC - Fiber - MC - PC), but now I need to use only one MC connected to a GLC.

Hi,

I think it may or may not depending on the media converter specifications such as length of link and media converter model number. You might want to take a look at media converter vendor's literature for this.
