Good Morning,
my customer bought those models of data center switches.
My questions is:
Cisco, for the 5672 provides an adapter that convert a qsfp 40g to a sfp 10g, so i can use my 10g optic modules on this switch.
Unfortunately on the 2332, this adapter is not compatible, and now i have a serious problem, cause i must use all the 40g ports to do redundant links but i won't have scalability for the future.
Can i connect the 40g port of the 2332 to the 10g port of the 5672, and be able to estabilish a link?
Thanks,
Alessandro

Hi,

The 2332 FEX comes only with 10Gig uplibks only? So, you would have go 10Gig to 10Gig.

You can use a QSFP adapter to convert from 40 to 10.

The 5672up comes with 6 40Gig ports. Can't just use 40 to 40 straight?

The topology is composed of:
- 2 5672UP
- 4 2332TQ
Even if you connect them fully meshed, you will still have 2 extra 40 gig in each 5672 to use in the feature.

I don't know but maybe you can use a 40GQSFP to four 10G SFP+ breakout cable...?
